Bari are odds-on favourites for their Serie B clash with Empoli tonight but with just one win in five, Paul Robinson thinks they are far too short.
"Empoli are down in 19th place in the table, but after a shocking start that saw them go without a victory for nine games, they have turned it around and won their last two."
Thanks to Horsens and Getafe it's back to back winners for the first time in what seems like an age and it appears that the bad luck has gone for now.
Bari are 12th in the table with 12 points from their opening 11 fixtures. After a bright start that saw them pick up 14 points from a possible 18, Vincenzo Torrente has seen his side win just one of their last five, losing two and drawing two.
At their home of Stadio San Nicola, Bari are undefeated so far this term; four wins and a draw from five, but it is worth noting that they have all been tight affairs, with a one goal margin being the difference in three of the four victories.

Away from home, Maurizio Sarri's men have played five, won one, drawn two and lost two, with the defeats coming against top four sides. Their performance in their last road trip over Virtus Lanciano in a 3-0 victory was impressive and a similar display will cause Bari plenty of headaches.
Bari may be a much better proposition on home soil than they are away, but Empoli are running into a bit of form and, at around the 1.910/11 mark, I have to make Bari my lay of the day.
