Football Bet of the Day: Turk the low road when it comes to goals this evening

We're kicking off our week in Turkey

Kevin Hatchard's back in the pilot's chair, and he's talking Turkey as we start the week.

"Adanaspor have kept clean sheets in their last three home games, while Antalyaspor haven't conceded a goal in their last four away matches."

Back No in the Both Teams To Score market at 2.1211/10

Adanaspor v Antalyaspor
Monday May 11, 17:00

Our chum Tobias Gourlay had another winning week, despite yesterday's setback in Norway, and I'm starting to feel like the Andrew Ridgeley to his George Michael. As all good managers say, you can only concentrate on your own performances, so it's time for a strong week from Team Hatchard.

We start in Turkey with a trip to the second division. Adanaspor know a point will keep them safe from relegation, while the visitors Antalyaspor need to win to have any chance of securing automatic promotion.

The Toros Tigers of Adanaspor have pulled themselves towards safety with a sterling set of results at their Adana 5 Ocak Stadi (another catchy stadium name). They have lost just one of their last nine home games, winning five of those matches. A couple of weeks ago they seemed certain to secure survival, but they have wobbled in the last three games, collecting just one point.

Antalyaspor, or the Scorpions if you prefer, have bounced between the top two divisions of Turkish football since the early Eighties. Their bid for automatic promotion has stalled recently, thanks to a run of three consecutive draws. A playoff spot now looks like a more realistic proposition than a top-two finish.

Antalyaspor have been incredibly solid away from home recently. They have kept four consecutive clean sheets on the road, and have only lost three games on their travels all season. Adanaspor have kept clean sheets in their last three home games, and the reverse fixture was really tight, with Adanaspor winning 1-0.

With both teams defending well, and a huge amount on the line for both, this could be a close and nervy affair. Backing No in the Both Teams To Score market seems sensible at 2.1211/10.
