Andrew Hughes thinks Manchester City will be too strong for Burnley and will help to land a cross-sport multiple in the process.

Bet 1: Back Manchester City to beat Burnley at 1.444/9

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will have one eye on Wednesday's clash with Barcelona, but City cannot afford to lose any more ground in the Premier League race and so we can expect a full-strength line up at Turf Moor on Saturday.

He certainly won't be able to take the home side lightly. Burnley have performed with plenty of credit against the bigger teams, including earning a point at the Etihad Stadium, and with ten games to go are just three points from safety, with everything to play for.

But they don't go into this game in great form. The Clarets have won just one of their last twelve Premier League games and rarely keep a clean sheet. Manchester City have won their last three games at Turf Moor by an aggregate score of 16-3 and should be too strong.

Bet 2: Back Ireland to beat Wales at 1.84/5

Wales have recovered from their opening Six Nations defeat, and with battling victories over Scotland and France under their belt and a winnable fixture against Italy to come, they know that victory over Ireland on Saturday will make them the favourites to regain the title.

But that is easier said than done. Ireland have looked unstoppable in recent months, managing a clean sweep in their autumn internationals and disposing of Italy, France and England without too much difficulty. They can match Wales in all departments and have an excellent record at the Millennium Stadium. Back Ireland to claim the Triple Crown.

Bet 3: Back Anaheim to beat Minnesota at 2.255/4

Anaheim head to Minnesota on Saturday hoping to bring their NHL losing streak to an end. The Ducks are top of the Pacific Division but have lost their last three, while Minnesota have been on a run of form that has taken them into the Western Conference wild-card places.

But the visitors, who will be boosted by the likely return of forward Matt Beleskey, are the stronger side, and more significantly, have an excellent record against the Wild. They've beaten them twice already this season and have won their last five games in Minnesota. Back Anaheim for the victory.
