KooTeePee take on OPS this afternoon in the Finnish Ykkonen and they are odds-on to pick up the three points. With four defeats in their last five home games though, Paul Robinson thinks that they are worth opposing.

I think they are far from a certainty to make it three today. So with them trading around the 1.981/1 mark, I have to make them my lay of the day.

KooTeePee are currently down in seventh place in the league with 19 points from 19 matches played. After a bright start to their campaign which saw them undefeated in the opening three games, a run of defeats mounted up with only the occasional positive result thrown in. Manager, Janne Hyppönrn, has stopped that rot in recent weeks though as it's now back to back wins for his side, which includes an impressive 1-0 victory over third placed, PK-35 Vantaa. That win ended a streak of four losses at the Arto Tolsa Areena, and I'm concerned that it could be a false dawn, given that in those four previous defeats, they didn't even manage to score a goal and conceded ten themselves.

OPS are having a poor season compared to last year's second place finish. Luiz Antônio's side are languishing in eighth place, just four points clear of the relegation zone and level on points with today's opponents. After a promising start to their campaign which saw them pick up 15 points from a possible 24, their form has nosedived to the point where it's now no win in 12 for the men from Oulu. Nevertheless, they shouldn't be written off just yet and they did manage to draw five of those dozen games, which would be good enough for us this afternoon.

This is a clash of two sides having a struggling season and while KooTeePee have home advantage and back to back wins under their belts, I think they are far from a certainty to make it three today. So with them trading around the 1.981/1 mark, I have to make them my lay of the day.
