Liverpool, Fulham and Derby struggle against 'lesser' opposition on Sunday...
Liverpool were trading at [1.33] for the win ahead of their third round fixture at Luton.
And though they struggled, Rafa Benitez's men went lower on the exchange. The Reds were backed at [1.1] on Betfair after taking a 74th minute at Kenilworth Road.
But an equalising goal for the Hatters scuppered those taking the short price on a Liverpool win. The draw was matched at [10.5] and the correct score was matched at [20.0]
Fulham, playing only their second game under Roy Hodgson, went off the [1.5] favourites for victory at home to League One strugglers Bristol Rovers.
But the men from the West Country were no wide-eyed visitors, just happy to be playing in such exalted company. The Bristolians twice took the lead at Craven Cottage and hit [1.61] on the exchange, only to be held back on both occasions by Fulham. The correct score was matched at [26.0].
Despite an at times unconvincing performance, Arsenal had no such trouble at Burnley. The north Londoners started the match at [1.46] for victory
Derby were generally expected to get the better of Sheffield Wednesday, starting the match as a [2.14] selection for victory. But the Owls were intent on denying their hosts, opening up a 2-0 lead before being pegged back to 2-2 at half-time which is how it finished.
