Michael Lintorn picks out bets for the FA Cup second-round replays at Scunthorpe, Shrewsbury and Walsall...

"Scunthorpe generally get the job done when hosting inferior opponents, winning four of their five league games against teams below them in the table at Glanford Park, including each of the last three."

Recommended Bet: Back Scunthorpe to win @ [2.44]

All of these matches kick-off on Tuesday at 19:45

Scunthorpe [2.44] v Leyton Orient [3.25]; The Draw [3.5]

This clash pits the club 14th in League One against one ninth in League Two and, given that the former also boast home advantage, [2.44] has to be judged an attractive price on them triumphing.

Scunthorpe generally get the job done when hosting inferior opponents, winning four of their five league games against teams below them in the table at Glanford Park, including each of the last three.

Even though they dropped down a division this summer, Leyton Orient have already been beaten five times on their travels, with two of those reverses occurring on their two cup away days at MK Dons and Luton.

Recommended Bet: Back Scunthorpe to win @ [2.44]

Shrewsbury [2.42] v Grimsby [3.3]; The Draw [3.45]

The initial tie at Blundell Park finished goalless, which immediately encourages the impression that [1.89] is a handsome mark-up on another serving of under 2.5 goals. Excluding qualifiers, three of the last four replays of FA Cup fixtures which were drawn 0-0 closed on the same side of that goal line.

Grimsby's past four matches in all competitions each delivered under 2.5 goals, with three of those sliding under 1.5 for good measure and one wriggling under 0.5, and a similar pattern is prevalent in Shrewsbury's most recent four FA Cup outings, with all four producing a solitary goal or less.

Recommended Bet: Back under 2.5 goals @ [1.89]

Walsall [1.83] v Chesterfield [5.0]; The Draw [3.85]

There is a decent incentive on offer for League One promotion hopefuls Walsall to do the business at the second attempt against Chesterfield, with the winners set for a third-round visit to Brentford, who recently appointed the Saddlers' beloved manager Dean Smith.

The first encounter at the Proact Stadium ended 1-1 and both teams to score appears to be a sensible play again at [1.83]. Punters who invested in such an outcome in Walsall's last eight games were only denied a profit once. The Spireites don't have quite so formidable a strike rate, but they have faced the midlanders twice in the past two months without a single clean sheet being kept.

Recommended Bet: Back both teams to score @ [1.83]
