After collecting another two-point profit from Matchday Three, Kevin Hatchard is back with four more Europa League selections...

"Hoffenheim are leaking goals, and they have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions."

Lay Hoffenheim at [2.1]

Istanbul Basaksehir v Hoffenheim
Thursday November 02, 18:00
Live on BT Sport Extra

Hoffenheim finally picked up their first ever win in European competition on Matchday Three, as they deservedly beat Istanbul Basaksehir 3-1 in Sinsheim. The Turkish visitors struggled to develop any real rhythm in attack, and strikers Mevlut Erdinc and Mehmet Batdal received very little service.

However, I'm expecting a totally different scenario in Turkey. Basaksehir have suffered just one defeat inside 90 minutes in their last 33 home games in all competitions, and although they have made a poor start to this tournament (one point from three games), home advantage should make a positive difference.

Hoffenheim were beaten 3-1 at home by Borussia Monchengladbach at the weekend, their first Bundesliga loss at the Rhein Neckar Arena since May 2016. Julian Nagelsmann's side have won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions, and last week they slid out of the German Cup, losing away to a Werder Bremen team in awful form.

Hoffe have won just two away games all season, and I can't fathom why they are trading at [2.1] for the win.

Hertha Berlin v Zorya
Thursday November 02, 20:05
Live on BT Sport Extra

Hertha Berlin are staring down the barrel of an early exit, after a catastrophic 2-1 defeat in Lviv against Zorya. Having grabbed an equaliser through Davie Selke, the capital club proceeded to crumble, as centre-back Oleksandr Svatok's outrageous flicked finish won the game for the hosts.

It's effectively win or bust for Hertha now, and despite their poor form, I think this is a test they can pass. They returned to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-1 victory at home to Hamburg in the Bundesliga, and even though Zorya won 1-0 in Bilbao against Athletic Club, I think man for man Hertha are the better side.

Hertha will have gained huge confidence from finally ending their winless run against HSV, and I think they'll field a strong side here. Zorya have lost four of their last five UEL games on the road, and I'd back the hosts.

Guimaraes v Marseille
Thursday November 02, 20:05

Marseille had to come from behind to beat Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes on Matchday Three, and now they face a trip to a ground where not many visiting sides come away with a victory.

Guimaraes have only lost once at home this season, and stretching back into last season, they have lost just two of their last 15 competitive matches at the Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques.

Marseille have looked good on the road in Ligue 1, but in this season's Europa League, they have lost in Salzburg and been held to draws at Oostende and Domzale. Rudi Garcia's side don't necessarily need to win this to progress, and it remains to be seen whether he will field a strong team.

Guimaraes have to go for it, and I think they can pick up a positive result.

Lokomotiv Moscow v Sheriff
Thursday November 02, 18:00
Live on BT Sport Extra

Having seen CSKA regularly compete at Champions League level, and having watched Spartak secure the Russian league title last season, Lokomotiv have been in the shadows somewhat in the Russian capital. However, there are signs that the Railroaders are emerging.

At the weekend they went three points clear at the top of the Russian Premier League as they won 3-0 at title rivals Zenit, and on Thursday night they will look to extend their unbeaten record in the group stage of the Europa League.

Loko won 3-0 at home to Zlin earlier in the group stage, and they have won seven of their last nine matches on home soil. Moldovan side Sheriff have never won an away game in the UEL, and they have failed to score in three of their last four Europa League games away from home.

Recommended Bet
Back Lokomotiv Moscow -1.0 on the Asian Handicap at odds of around [1.95]
