Joe Dyer missed a Battle round earlier in the competition and so he takes a solo mission in search of profit ahead of next weekend's finale...

"There simply must be drama when West Ham meet Manchester United in what is the London side's last ever game in E13 before their move to the Olympic Stadium. That alone should guarantee a big performance, or at the very least a memorable game, but the team probably owe the fans one after a miserable result on Saturday..."

It's a solo Betting Battle for the midweek fixtures as I have a spare bet in the bank (my son was born in late February so I missed a week) and I can't resist going to the Boleyn Ground in search of a winner to give me a shot at Dan and Luke for the finale on Sunday.

There simply must be drama when West Ham meet Manchester United in what is the London side's last ever game in E13 before their move to the Olympic Stadium. That alone should guarantee a big performance, or at the very least a memorable game, but the team probably owe the fans one after a miserable result on Saturday...

The Irons had a chance to stay up with the top-four chasers but let the support down with a heavy defeat at the hands of Swansea on the weekend. This is a massive occasion anyway, but I think Saturday's poor result will give them extra determination to sign off their 112 year stay at the Boleyn with a memorable performance.

And if there is drama then that should turn into goals. As I write in my preview, West Ham have been involved in several high-scoring games recently. They usually do their bit in front of goal but that defence is nothing special.

I'm way of United's defensive strength but they must win the match to edge ahead of City to finish among the Champions League places and that should make for a more open match than we've seen from them recently.

All in all, the slightly bigger than even money on more than 2.5 goals looks good to me.
