Championship Play-Off Final 2015: Canaries slight favourites to beat Boro to the Premier League

Can Neil bring Norwich back to the Premier League at the first attempt?

Just a point separated third-placed Norwich from fourth-placed Middlesbrough in the final Championship table and the market just gives the edge to the Canaries ahead of the Championship Play-Off final

"Early markets on Betfair have Norwich at 2.6813/8 to win in 90 minutes with Boro just a tick or so longer at 2.89/5, the draw is 3.39/4. In the straightforward promotion market Norwich are 1.865/6 with Boro 2.1211/10."

Norwich are marginal favourites to get the better of Middlesbrough when the pair meet in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

The Canaries joined the north-east outfit in the Bank Holiday Monday showdown after a 3-1 defeat of local rivals Ipswich early on Saturday. That result means the East Anglian outfit have a chance to bounce back into the top-flight after just one season in The Championship.

The two sides finished just a point apart in the final Championship table. However, interestingly perhaps, Aitor Karanka's men won both clashes with Norwich this season - they hammered Neil Adams' struggling side 4-0 at the Riverside, and more impressively beat Alex Neil's then high-flying Canaries 1-0 at Carrow Road in April.
