Michael Lintorn expects PSV to once again deliver under 2.5 goals in the Champions League at Rostov...
"Six of PSV’s last seven Champions League matches have served up two goals or fewer, with the the most recent three conjuring just one goal."
Rostov 3.55/2 v PSV 2.47/5; The Draw 3.3512/5
Live on BT Sport Extra
PSV would be wise not to dismiss Rostov on the strength of their 5-0 humbling at Bayern Munich: far more experienced European campaigners have encountered similar Allianz Arena setbacks, while the newbies stunned Dutch adversaries Ajax 5-2 on aggregate and 4-1 in Russia in the play-off round.
Even when Phillip Cocu's men reached the knockout stage for the first time in nine years last term, they didn't claim an away win in four attempts, and didn't even score in the latter three, incurring a 3-2 reverse to Russian heavyweights CSKA Moscow along the way.
Rostov did suffer a hangover to their Bayern beating, losing 2-1 to Krasnodar and 4-0 to Dinamo Moscow, but rallied at the weekend to defeat Lokomotiv Moscow at home.
They haven't been beaten in front of their fans since May 2015 so, given PSV's Euro travelling troubles, Rostov's assessment as 3.55/2 outsiders seems somewhat harsh. The best way to capitalise is arguably by investing in them in the draw no bet market at 2.447/5.
