Manchester City are the new favourites to win the Champions League after landing the plum tie of Basel in today's round of 16 draw.

The Citizens were generally trading at around the 5.69/2 mark prior to the draw, but after being paired with Swiss outfit Basel - and later seeing European giants PSG drawn against defending champions Real Madrid - Pep Guardiola's men shortened to 4.03/1 and now head the Winner market.

Manchester United, 17.5, and Liverpool, 17.016/1, also received relatively kind draws, but Tottenham, 28.027/1, and Chelsea, 34.033/1, came out worst of the five English clubs, having to face Italian giants Juventus, and La Liga leaders Barcelona respectively.

*European football expert Andy Brassell will be back later today with a more in-depth analysis following today's draw.
