The Betfair Football £10 Bet of the Day
Day 26: We're backing Swansea City to beat Peterborough at [2.74]
Peterborough's home form has been brilliant this season. They've played five games at the London Road Stadium this term and won all of them, including a 2-1 victory over Cardiff City in the last round of the Carling Cup.
Meanwhile, Swansea's away results have been dreadful, losing against Hull City, Norwich City and Leeds United on the road already this term.
So why are we backing Swansea? For a start, the Swans can feel aggrieved at their away record this term. They've played well against Norwich and Leeds, and were extremely unlucky to get nothing out of those two clashes.
They've won their last two games in the Championship against Coventry City and Scunthorpe United, and have won their two Carling Cup games this season comfortably, scoring three in each game. With the Posh conceding five goals in their last three games, the Swans should easily be able to find a way through their defence.
Striker Stephen Dobbie and new signing Scott Sinclair are flying for the Swans, and with a defence that was the second meanest in the Championship last term, we fancy the south Wales side to come out on top.
Our bet: We're backing Swansea City to beat Peterborough at [2.74] , meaning that - before factoring in commission - we stand to win £17.40. The same punt pays out just £15 with Paddy Power. Sign up for a new account now and have losing bets up to a total of £30 refunded for a week.
