Best places to bet in the football pyramid

Betting@Betfair have experts for every division in the Football League, and here are their top tips for this weekend's action...

Championship
Gary Speed should enjoy his first victory as Sheffield United manager when they host improving Preston North End. The visitors have improved after a poor start to win twice this week but haven't won at Bramall Lane since 1978, losing their last three tips, while they last collected three points away to a current Championship side last September. The Blades therefore have to be backed at [1.96] to triumph and climb off the bottom of the table.

League One
Huddersfield have suffered two heavy defeats, beaten by Peterborough 4-2 and spanked by Everton in the Carling Cup. It's time for the Terriers to get back on track against Charlton. Town have just completed the signing of Alan Lee from Crystal Palace. The 32-year-old looks the missing piece in the jigsaw, a strong robust target man with loads of experience. Lee Clark's side haven't really got going, but their squad is too strong for them not to. Back them at [2.12].

League Two
Shrewsbury really appeal at Stockport, where boss Paul Simpson is already feeling the pinch. No money for new faces means little fresh impetus for a side not used to winning. Simpson will be up for this one, having parted company with the Shrews in April. The doubters who make the visitors [2.46] base the price on the away form that has undermined them in the past two seasons. Graham Turner has recruited well though in defender Ian Sharps, while striker Jake Robinson can help continue his side's great start.
