Leicester City are yet to lose a home league game under Sven-Goran Eriksson but expect that record to be severely threatened when they are visited by resurgent east midland rivals Nottingham Forest in this evening's televised Championship encounter.

It was at this point last season that, after a stuttering start in which they were rarely beaten yet drew too much, the Reds hit a run of form so strong that they entered automatic promotion contention and the signs are that history could repeat itself.

Billy Davies' side have won just a third of their league fixtures to date, however their recent results have been hugely encouraging, the pick of the bunch being last week's shock 2-0 away triumph at Cardiff. It's a tempting [3.8] that they build on that with victory at the Walkers Stadium tonight.

Thanks to our special offer for those opening new Betfair accounts, you can bet up to £30 on this match or anything else that catches your eye within seven days of signing up and any losing wagers will be refunded, so there's no absolutely no risk involved.

If they do take all three points against Sven's Foxes, who suffered a disappointing loss to Bristol City last time out and have been held at home by relegation threatened Hull and Sheffield United, it will almost certainly be by a slim margin.

The Tricky Trees have netted in seven of their nine away games but have score precisely one in five of those, while only QPR have conceded fewer than them on their travels. Under 2.5 goals therefore appeals at [1.81], as does a correct score bet on the visitors winning 1-0 at [12.0].

The most likely first goalscorer has to be Lewis McGugan at [9.6]. The young Forest forward has netted over half of his team's away goals with five on the road, including three in his last four outings, the latest being the opener in Cardiff last Saturday.
