Leicester fans - who should Sven sign?
An uplifting and much-needed home win, a shiny new manager and now a reported £10 million to invest in new signings. Life for Leicester fans must be a fair bit happier than it was seven days ago.
The Daily Mirror report that the Foxes are to give new boss Sven Goran Eriksson a £10 million war chest with which to turn the current squad into promotion contenders, with the former England boss making it very clear what is on his agenda by saying: "I was asked by the owners, 'how much money do you want?' The target here is very clear - Premier League."
So, we're giving all you Foxes fans the chance to play a bit of Football Manager and tell us where and who you would spend £10 million on. Give us the players, the valuations and the reasons - and we'll publish them here for everyone else to see and debate.

I think Sven should invest in young Premier league player. He should 'try' and bring in Chris Smalling 3M?? He should look at Tom Cleverly for about 2M?? He Could take a look at a young RB, possibly Ashley Williams 2M?? Aaron Ramsey on loan (when he's fit again) He would do well to try and get Honda for about 4M?? Now that would be a decent young team to build upon. I know that's 11M but im sure our Thai friends are slightly flexible.

Sorry Jake but i doubt we'd get smalling for £3m as United paid £10 for him last season...
Cleverley would more likely command around 4-5m
We had a 2m bid rejected for WIlliams on deadline Day.
Honda - that would be an interesting one!
I'd like to see us go for Whittingham, McAnuff and an outside shot at Michael Johnson...

We all know that he's spent money signing Vessell (wages only, I think) and I hope he can do us proud. With £10mil we can't get carried away and realistically we won't get much in Britain, so overseas deals look the best bet. Quality at a cheap price goes a long way, especially if they are young. I hear Robert Pires (Villarreal) still likes Leicester and is supposed to be Free? Giuseppe Rossi £8mil (Villarreal) hot prospect for Man Utd who left for games, Jonathan Reis (PSV Eindhoven) 6 goals in 3 games, had contract cancelled after testing positive for a banned substance, he'll be Free and a bargin (just help him stay clean). Khalfan Ibrahim £2mil (Al Sadd) Is one of 50 top young european talents and Named Asian footballer of the year in 2006 at the age of 18.
Experience on one side and Talent on the other
Players = 4
Total = £10mil

Many thanks for the comment J Mistry - you're certainly ambitious!
One thing we wanted to point out though is that Jonathan Reis is back atPSV again now and scoring plenty - he got a hat-trick in last week's 10-0 demolition of Feyenoord.

DAMN! Just when we could have nicked a rare talent and by the sounds of things Jonathan Reis would have been quality. Splash the whole 10mil on him :-p
Jan seems the month Sven will spend and he already knows that he may need a more experienced keeper; West Brom are a changed team but we should have done better then to hand them the advantage, after that everything went against us.
Sven wants high profile players, but I don't see any wanting to play in the Championship, Unless we raid Pompy?? We'll get some great bargins!
