Best odds on Betfair as Ipswich trip Leeds

It was a brilliant week to bet on high-profile hosts misfiring in the Championship on Betfair, as three promotion hopefuls underperformed in front of their fans to help a number of customers win big.

Leeds had enough chances to put Ipswich away at Elland Road but only took a point on Kieron Dyer's first match back with the visitors. Any Betfair users that had £10 on 0-0 earned £166.25 - even accounting for the maximum five per cent commission - which was more than double the £80 up for grabs with Ladbrokes.

That was one of three goalless draws in the second tier on Saturday and there was far more money to be made betting against other people on one of the others as Nottingham Forest were frustrated by a Doncaster side that continued their recent improvement.

Anyone that stuck £10 on the correct score as Forest dropped points for the sixth game in a row received £133, whereas Bwin punters gained just £82.50 for the same wager.

Another home club that disappointed hugely were Burnley, who will be right in the thick of the automatic promotion battle if they win their two fixtures in hand, yet won't climb to second any time soon with results like their 3-0 loss to a Millwall team buoyed by midweek success over QPR.

The wise few that had a £10 flutter on the Lions delivering by such an impressive margin at Turf Moor were rewarded by a £750.50 payout, while Unibet and BetClic backers were forced to settle for a comparatively paltry £390.

Don't take our word for it though, why not test Betfair yourself using Betchecker?
