Best places to bet in the football pyramid

Betting@Betfair have experts for every division in the Football League, and here are their top tips for this weekend's action...

Championship
Portsmouth are propping up the table with just one point and one goal from four games. Therefore, the [2.52] available to back Saturday's visitors Ipswich looks plump, especially as Roy Keane finally seems to have moulded the Tractor Boys into a side capable of challenging for promotion. The East Anglian club struggled for much of Keane's first full season at the helm, but they have started this term with three wins and a draw - and the fact they have won both away games and scored five times in the process enforces the belief that they will add to Pompey's woes.

League One
Bournemouth tackle fellow League One new boys Dagenham this weekend. Manager Eddie Howe continues to preach a wonderful brand of attacking football, and he's still being mentioned in connection with the Southampton job. It's not surprising, he's a gem of a boss, and his side have only lost one game all season and sit seventh. Formation-wise, Howe adopted one lone striker against Huddersfield - the very quick Josh McQuoid - and he's bagged four in four to fill Brett Pitman's boots. Wingers Liam Feeney and Marc Pugh are excellent, whilst Marvin Bartley roams free with Shaun Cooper sitting in front of the back four. It all knits wonderfully together. Back them at [1.87].

League Two
Gary Waddock was seriously displeased that Wycombe failed to ram home their dominance at Accrington. Now his team have the chance to make amends. Keeper Nicky Bull, one of the best shot stoppers you will see in League Two and a leader to boot, rightly failed to understand what fans were getting at when they criticised Wycombe's "slow start" after three games, a 2-0 win and two 0-0 draws. Three clean sheets was how he saw it - much to build on. Two further score draws have made it a softly, softly start but they should beat winless Macclesfield at [1.66].

Want to combine the suggestions? A tenner treble on Ipswich, Bournemouth and Wycombe pays out £60.50 when placed using the Betfair Coupon.
