Hull target Aston Villa defender once more
The latest bunch of Championship transfer rumours sees several of the division's early pacesetters, including Cardiff and Millwall plotting new additions, while less impressive starters Hull and Nottingham Forest are also eager to strengthen...
Hull attempted to sign right back Habib Beye from Newcastle last summer only to miss out to Aston Villa and the Daily Mail report that the Tigers, who are [42.0] to win the Championship after a disappointing start to life under Nigel Pearson, will have another go now that he is unneeded at Villa Park.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has described it as a "racing certainty" that Andy Keogh is off to Cardiff on loan, however the Bluebirds could be losing a few players too. Veteran midfielder Gavin Rae could head to Leeds with Ross McCormack, while Nottingham Forest target Peter Whittingham is expected to make a decision on his future today.
Burnley have pulled off a bit of a coup by convincing Chris Eagles, who rejected the chance to join Rangers last month, to commit to the club for another two years. The Clarets have collected seven points from their first three games, yet are still [8.8] to win the Championship.
You'd think a striker wouldn't be a huge priority for Millwall given that Steve Morison has already struck three times this season but the Lions have been linked with 34-year-old former Tottenham striker Steffen Iversen, whose contract at Rosenborg is soon to expire.
