Hull City to hurt Swansea promotion push

There's a full set of fixtures in the Championship and 18 Football League encounters in total taking place this evening. We've picked out the top tie in each tier and offered our opinion on what to bet on in each...

Swansea v Hull
The Championship's second-best hosts face the top travellers in this evening's standout domestic game and the smart money has to be on both records being sustained. Swansea have delivered when it has mattered most in recent weeks in front of their fans, beating Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Norwich, but Hull are on a spectacular run of 15 away outings without defeat, so the Swans have to be laid at [1.76], or alternatively the draw backed at [3.9].

Brighton v Dagenham and Redbridge
Victory for Brighton will guarantee them a spot in next season's Championship and while Dagenham are in good form right now as they fight for survival, they were beaten 1-0 at home by the Seagulls last month and are going to find it even tougher to stop the table-toppers at the Withdean Stadium, where Gus Poyet's side haven't lost a League One match all term and have won 11 in a row. They are [1.52] to triumph and [2.4] to lead at half-time and full-time.

Bury v Burton
The Shakers have responded surprisingly well to the blow of losing boss Alan Knill to Scunthorpe and wins over Oxford and Northampton have taken them back to third, though they have surrendered automatic promotion positions in the closing stages of the last two campaigns. They are a patchy side so should be backed to sustain their current high with three points tonight at [1.59] against a Burton team running out of games with a dismal away points haul.
