Best places to bet in the football pyramid

Betting.Betfair have experts for every division in the Football League, and here are their top tips for this weekend's action...

Championship
Hull find themselves below halfway in the Championship after a mixed start to the season. Their away form (four defeats and 13 goals conceded) already shows signs of being restrictive so they will need to make sure they get everything they can out of their home matches. Coventry present them with a chance of three points this weekend. The Sky Blues have been only marginally more consistent than their hosts, but they always concede goals. They haven't kept a clean sheet since the opening day and they have leaked an average of two goals a game on the road. Back Hull at [2.12].

League One
Bournemouth are a decent side, hard-working but with plenty of pace and enthusiasm, and the players all play for Eddie Howe. They encountered Exeter recently (who were on a roll), and the Grecians were thoroughly outclassed. Southampton meanwhile were held 1-1 at Yeovil in midweek, and had lots of play and possession but are lacking the killer touch, which Rickie Lambert normally provides. The second-placed Cherries are good enough to take something from their trip to St Mary's and ruffle their illustrious neighbours, so lay Southampton at [1.71].

League Two
Given the Gulls' wings have been clipped severely in recent weeks and Shrewsbury are looking like promotion candidates, it is perhaps a little surprising that the hosts are odds-against to beat Torquay. Their 1-0 defeat to Port Vale, who continue to take the division by the horns, was no disgrace. Paul Buckle believes Torquay were "brilliant in every department" against Aldershot, apart from scoring of course, but the upward curve of the Shrews should be too much for them at [2.18].

Want to combine the suggestions? A fiver treble on Hull winning, Southampton stumbling and Shrewsbury picking up three points pays out £45.20 when placed using the Betfair Coupon.
