Bet on Derby - get a refund if they go out!
There were a fair few shocks on FA Cup third round weekend but the one disappointment has been that not one non-league club has made it through to the final 32 - and Crawley are the only team with an opportunity to change that when they host Derby at the Broadfield Stadium this evening.
The out-of-form Rams, who have taken just four of the last 21 points at their disposal in the Championship, were knocked out of the Carling Cup by League Two side Crewe earlier in the season but have been relatively upset-proof in England's most prestigious cup competition in recent years.
The play-off hopefuls have reached the fifth round in three of the last four seasons, the latter two campaigns ending against top-half Premier League opponents, and their bid to avoid elimination should be boosted by the fact their manager Nigel Clough has experience of facing Crawley.
During his long stint as Burton boss, Clough met the Steve Evans-led Red Devils three times, earning two victories and a draw. Odds of [2.26] on the 1991 finalist further enhancing that record in charge of players a class above, such as midfield goal machine Kris Commons, therefore appeal hugely.

While Derby have been disappointing of late, they tend to do exactly what is expected of them, including seeing off the teams they are fancied to beat, as shown by their seven wins in eight games against the worst seven sides in the Championship. Crawley, on the other hand, have triumphed in only one of their five hardest home encounters this season.
