Crystal Palace will continue their revival

This weekend's televised Championship matches promise to have a significant impact on the way things look at both the top and bottom of the table heading into Christmas. Here's how we see them going...

QPR v Watford (Friday, 7.45pm, BBC2)
There's a possibility that Cardiff's recent struggles will prompt complacency at QPR if it continues for much longer but right now, the unbeaten leaders are looking comfortable following a dodgy patch in which they kept drawing. The Hoops have won three in a row at Loftus Road, though admittedly without keeping the clean sheets that were their trademark at the start of the season, and while Watford ended a lengthy winless run against Leicester last week, Malky Mackay's men aren't always great at stringing victories together. Back QPR at [1.71] and both teams to score at [1.8] and, for longer odds, consider the half-time/full-time lead double at [2.78] and 1-0 half-time score at [4.1].

Crystal Palace v Hull (Saturday, 5.20pm, Sky Sports 2)
The Saturday teatime tie pits two relegation battlers - one that most had pencilled in for a survival scrap in the summer and another who were expected to do better after prising boss Nigel Pearson away from Leicester. Both have improved of late, Hull going four matches without defeat and Crystal Palace winning three in five, and being unfortunate not to triumph at Elland Road. The Tigers rarely lose, ending up pointless only four times in 14 outings, but Palace have gone 11 games without a draw, so a stalemate is unlikely. Judging by George Burley's side's last few results at Selhurst Park, it should be them at [2.5]. Over 2.5 goals is an Eagles' staple so cover that too at [2.08].
