The transfer window may have closed, but there's still time for one more big signing to happen this summer.

Marlon King's controversial move to Coventry City looks set to finally go through this week. Sky Blues boss Aidy Boothroyd seemed confident a deal for the striker - who is without a club since his release from prison - would be done imminently.

Speaking to the Coventry Evening Telegraph, Boothroyd said: "We didn't have to sign him before the window closed, but we hope to complete that by the end of the week.

"[He will be ready to play] in the next game. "He's kept himself in good shape and he would be available for the Leicester match which takes place on September 11."

The 30-year-old striker served nine months of an eighteen-month sentence for sexually assaulting and punching a woman in a nightclub, but is appealing the case on grounds of mistaken identity.
