Cardiff City to bounce back at Reading
It's not just the Premier League action worth keeping an eye on tonight. There are three very tasty games in the Championship that should provide plenty of entertainment and some very enticing odds...
Reading v Cardiff (Kick-off: 8pm)
Despite their Sunday defeat to Swansea City, Cardiff City have a chance to return to the top of the Championship with a win against Reading tonight. With QPR drawing (again) the Bluebirds can move one point clear of Neil Warnock's men. It was QPR who inflicted a 3-1 defeat on the Royals on Saturday making it six goals conceded in their last two games. With Jay Bothroyd set to return to the Cardiff starting line-up after missing the Swansea game through suspension, the Cardiff attack should fill their boots. Back the Bluebirds to win at a very generous [3.3].
Swansea City v Bristol City (Kick-off: 7.45pm)
Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers has called on his players to build on the success of their 1-0 Cardiff victory with another three points against Bristol City this evening - and it's hard to see the Robins stopping them. The Swans haven't conceded a goal in six games and have shipped just six in their last 20 matches at the Liberty. With Bristol City only finding the net 15 times in as many games this season, and Swansea welcoming back Darren Pratley from suspension, everything is pointing to a home win. Back Swansea to win at [1.66].
Leicester City v Sheffield United (Kick-off: 7.45pm)
After a dreadful start to the season under Paulo Sousa, Leicester City have started moving in the right direction under the stewardship of Sven-Goran Eriksson. They have lost just one of their last six in the league and should see off Sheffield United. The Blades have faltered in recent weeks after initially improving under new boss Gary Speed and, having won just three of their last 20 on the road, look set to lose again at [1.79].
