Watch Leonardo's Inter debut on Betfair!
The winter transfer window has only just opened but there has already been plenty of action in Italy, with Antonio Cassano joining AC Milan, Andrea Ranocchia signing for Inter Milan, Federico Macheda on his way to Sampdoria on loan and Roque Santa Cruz confident of completing a move to Lazio.
The biggest change of the 18 days since Serie A was last in session though was former AC Milan trainer Leonardo's arrival as Rafael Benitez's replacement at Inter, and you can watch his first match in the San Siro dugout as Nerazzurri coach against Napoli on Betfair Live Video on Thursday evening.
While leaders AC Milan soared in November and early December, it has been Napoli, three points behind them in joint-second, who have impressed us the most this season, with Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi in particular proving hugely effective for the Azzurri going forward.
Yet while Walter Mazzarri's side can quite justifiably dream of a first genuine title challenge since the Diego Maradona era, new boss syndrome threatens them against an Inter team eager to prove they are still in the fight for first despite their 13-point deficit. Leonardo is [1.86] to make a winning start.
Each of the other nine games taking place on the Italian public holiday for L'Epifania can be watched on Betfair Live Video and there are some tantalising ties to look forward to.
Gianluigi Buffon may make his first appearance of the campaign when Juventus host his old club Parma in the 11.30am kick-off, a decision that would reportedly prompt his talented deputy Marco Storari to contemplate leaving the Bianconeri, who are [2.0] to keep only their second clean sheet in ten league games against the Hernan Crespo-dependent Gialloblu.
In the tastiest 2pm fixture, AC Milan tactician Massimiliano Allegri returns to Sardinia to face former employers Cagliari, now led by Rossoneri legend Roberto Donadoni. The visitors are [2.14] favourites but with the Isolani in decent form and Zlatan Ibrahimovic suspended, the draw appeals at [3.4].
Elsewhere, Lazio are a tempting [3.45] to stay in title contention and heap misery on their ex-trainer Davide Ballardini by becoming the fifth team to beat Genoa at the Marassi and Palermo are [1.92] to ease the unfair pressure on coach Delio Rossi by getting one over Sampdoria, who pipped them to fourth last season.
