It's not just AC Milan and Roma's Champions League round-of-16 ties that render this a massive week in the Italian football calendar, as there are also two high-profile Serie A games in hand taking place on Wednesday afternoon that you can watch live courtesy of Betfair Live Video.

The one that will attract the most attention is Inter Milan's trip to Fiorentina in which they have an opportunity to close the gap on neighbours and leaders AC Milan to five points.

Nerazzurri backers won't be as confident as they would have been a week ago though because on Sunday, Fiorentina delivered perhaps their best performance of the campaign to finally win away against Palermo, while Inter put in arguably their worst under Leonardo to lose 1-0 to fierce rivals Juventus.

It's been a mixed season for Viola boss and former Inter assistant Sinisa Mihajlovic but with Valon Behrami impressing on his return to Serie A and Adrian Mutu back in the mix after being banished from the side in January, the Tuscan club are back in the top half and [3.4] to beat the champions.

That 4-2 victory in Sicily was Fiorentina's first against a top-eight team in ten attempts and they haven't defeated Inter in their ten meetings since Calciopoli.

The visitors simply have to win and while their weekend flop in Turin raises serious questions over Leonardo's ability to change a game when the initial strategy isn't working, the smart money is on them bouncing back at attractive odds of [2.44]. Samuel Eto'o had a nightmare on Sunday yet it's difficult to envisage him playing that badly again, so consider him as a potential first scorer at [6.6].

The other match taking place at 5.30pm is the rescheduled Derby della Lanterna between Sampdoria and Genoa, who have both disappointed in 2010-11. Under-pressure Blucerchiati trainer Domenico Di Carlo has more of an excuse having seen Giampaolo Pazzini and Antonio Cassano depart on the cheap in January and also oversaw an encouraging 3-1 triumph over Bologna in their last outing.

Genoa on the other hand have failed to score in ten of their last 16 encounters to make a mockery of pre-season talk of challenging for a Champions League place, something Sampdoria achieved the year before, so the official hosts have to be fancied at generous odds of [2.94], with 1-0 an appealing [7.8].
