Milan derby and much more live on Betfair
Serie A has its critics but it's arguable that no other division in the world is capable of delivering four fixtures as high-profile in one matchday as the Italian top-flight is offering this weekend, each at different kick-off times so that Betfair customers can enjoy them all courtesy of Betfair Live Video.
The first of the blockbuster encounters - and the biggest of the bunch - is Saturday's Derby della Madonnina as the top two, AC Milan and Inter Milan, collide at the San Siro in a game that promises to have a huge impact on the outcome of one of the most exciting title races in recent memory.
Despite boasting what little home advantage exists in this showdown, winning the previous collision in November and sitting two points clear of their neighbours, AC Milan are rated outsiders at [2.98].
It's easy to understand why too, as the Rossoneri without suspended top scorer and match-winner in the first meeting Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while their rivals carry all the momentum having triumphed in 14 of their first 19 games under ex-Milan boss Leonardo. They therefore appeal at [2.74].
Napoli supporters will be hoping it's a draw at [3.25] as they enter week 31 just three points off the pace, with their dreams of a first scudetto since the Diego Maradona era alive once again after the return of Ezequiel Lavezzi inspired victories over Parma and Cagliari.
Their latest assignment is to defeat another of the season's success stories, fifth-placed Lazio, at the San Paolo on Sunday lunchtime, with the capital club equally eager for the points to sustain their faltering bid for Champions League qualification.
Former Napoli tactician Edy Reja negotiated a 2-0 win against his old employers at the Stadio Olimpico in November but the Azzurri have been the far more impressive performers of the two since, while Lazio's stretch of only one away success in ten lends itself to a bet on the hosts at [1.82].
Of the six Sunday afternoon offerings, the highlight is the Derby di Sicilia between Catania and Palermo, with the Rosanero [3.75] underdogs despite their momentum-shifting triumph against AC Milan last time out.
The reason for that is that Catania have won the last three clashes between the two at the Stadio Angelo Massimino, where the Rossazzurri boast a 100 per cent record since the start of February. They have identified this as a massive match in their fight for survival and are [2.44] to deliver again.
A huge weekend ends with two of 2010-11's biggest underachievers, Roma and Juventus. There are three reasons to back the home team at [1.99]: they've won two in three against the Old Lady, are unbeaten domestically under Vincenzo Montella and captain Francesco Totti is in his best form in ages.
As ever, there's plenty more action from Italy, as well as Bundesliga, Eredivisie, Ligue 1, Liga Sagres, MLS football and much more available to watch on Betfair Live Video too.
