The best punts for Saturday's SPL action
There may be an early season title decider taking place in Glasgow on Sunday, but there are plenty of intriguing games taking place in Scotland tomorrow...
Aberdeen v Hibernian
Hibernian are just one point above their hosts as they head into this clash, but they look good to be ahead of them at 5pm tomorrow. It's more to do with Aberdeen's dreadful form than Hibs' brilliance though - the Dons have lost their last three games, while Hibs ended a run of seven games without a win, with a 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock last weekend. Back an away win at [3.15].
Hamilton v St Johnstone
With only one win this season, Hamilton will be looking to get things going against St Johnstone - but we can't see it happening. Hamilton haven't won at home yet this season, while the Saints have only failed to score in one of their three away games this term. Backing St Johnstone to win at [2.98] could be well worth a punt.
Hearts v St Mirren
Hearts boss Jim Jefferies reckons it's only a matter of time before his side gets their first home win of the season, and they won't have a better chance than their game against St Mirren. The Saints are bottom of the table with just one win in their eight games so far and have lost all of their away games so far. Hearts should win this comfortably at [1.66].
Kilmarnock v Inverness
Inverness' away form has been considerably better than their home form so far this season, having won two and drawn one of their three away encounters. This is not great news for Killie who have lost three of four at home and have failed to keep a single clean sheet at Rugby Park. Backing a win for Inverness at [3.2] looks like your best bet.
Motherwell v Dundee United
Finally, the best of the rest Motherwell can close the gap on second placed Celtic to a minute eight points if they beat Dundee United. Motherwell have only won once at home this season though, and with Dundee United losing just once away from home this term - and that was against Rangers - we can see them getting a draw at [3.45].
