A risk fee bet on Celtic in Scottish Cup

Rangers are already through to the next round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup thanks to their 7-2 drubbing of Dunfermline yesterday, and we reckon Glasgow neighbours Celtic should coast through against Inverness tonight.

So why not use this opportunity to make some decent money? With our special offer for those opening new accounts, you can bet up to £30 on Celtic winning at [1.33], with a £30 stake yielding nearly a tenner in profit. But what if Celtic slip up? Not to worry, you'll get your money back...

Celtic v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Having won their opening five games of the SPL season to open up a seven point gap over third placed Hearts, Celtic enter the Co-operative Insurance Cup. The Bhoys have lost just one of their last 37 league games at Parkhead, and of the previous 14 meetings between these two sides, Caley Thistle have won just three. They haven't won at Parkhead in over ten years, so backing Celtic to win 2-0 at [7.4] looks to be worth a punt.

Aberdeen v Raith Rovers
Scottish first division side Raith Rovers travel to Aberdeen looking to get their season back up and running. Having won their first four games, they have drawn their last two 0-0 and have only netted twice in their last four matches. Aberdeen have stuttered in recent weeks as well, but wins against Hamilton and St. Johnstone in the league, and Alloa Athletic in the cup, suggest the Dons will have more than enough to see off Rovers on home soil at [1.59].

Kilmarnock v Hibernian
After five games of the SPL season, only one point separates these two sides. Hibernian haven't lost against Kilmarnock in their last four games though, and should give them a close game. Killie's three game winning streak was brought to an abrupt end by Celtic last weekend, while Hibs have drawn their last two matches 1-1. With so little to choose between these teams, backing a draw at [3.45] looks like the best bet.

Ross County v Dundee United (Live on BBC2 Scotland, Kick-off: 7:30pm)
Ross County have only won two of their first six games in the first division, while Dundee have won just one of their opening five in the SPL. County have conceded seven goals in their last five home clashes though, so back Dundee to break through their flimsy defence and win at [1.79].
