Big odds offered on 1-0 Wolves on Betfair

There were only three matches but there is no way of denying that the final day of Premier League football in 2010 was a lively one, with Wolves securing a historic victory at Anfield, Chelsea finally getting back on track and Arsenal proving that winning the big games is just half the battle.

While it was a chastising end to a dreadful year for Liverpool, it was a brilliant night to be a Betfair customer as anyone who stuck a tenner on Wolves winning 1-0 received a profit of £275.50 - even accounting for the maximum five per cent commission - whereas Ladbrokes and BetClic paid out only £140.

There was also more money to be made betting against other punters on Betfair on Chelsea's clash with Bolton as the champions finally triumphed in the Premier League after a six-match lean streak. A £10 bet on the Blues winning 1-0 returned £79.80, compared to £57.50 with BWin.

Further down the divisions, Betfair users benefitted from the 1-1 draw between League One promotion chasers Brighton and Charlton at the Withdean Stadium, which delivered a £62.70 profit for a £10 outlay, while Sportingbet customers were forced to settle for just £50.

Don't take our word for it though, why not test Betfair yourself using Betchecker?
