Manchester United to ease past Bolton
Only a few days ago there were one or two people talking in hushed tones about whether Chelsea could go the whole season undefeated. They were odds on the retain the Premier League and looked unstoppable.
However, a momentum sapping defeat to Newcastle United in the Carling Cup, and a loss away to Manchester City in the Premier League has blown the title race wide open again, and Manchester United should capitalise on that today.
Bolton is a tricky place to go though, right? Well, not for Sir Alex Ferguson's side. United have only lost once at the Reebok in their last nine visits - a 1-0 defeat in 2007 with Nicolas Anelka bagging the winner.
The Trotters only have one victory this season, and that was four games ago against West Ham United. They've drawn two and lost one since then, and are still searching for their first home win.
One cause for optimism for Bolton is the fact that they've only failed to score twice in their last nine Premier League games, so backing both teams to score at [1.89] could be worth a punt, especially considering how poor the United back line looked against Liverpool last weekend.
However, with Gary Cahill suspended following his sending-off at Arsenal, and Berbatov in such brilliant form, Manchester United will not miss this opportunity to close the gap on Chelsea.
Putting your cash on a win for the visitors at [1.58] might not set pulses racing, but you can increase your profits by lumping some money on over 2.5 goals at [1.79].
