Man Utd will end a glorious season in style
There's been much speculation about which XI Sir Alex will field for Sunday's Premier League finale - what with the Champions League final coming up six days later - but we think that, whoever plays, the Reds will reward those who back them at [1.64] to beat Blackpool.
The Seasiders will be up for this one as they fight for their survival. They've won plenty of admirers in their debut Premier League season, playing attractive football and trying to win games home and away. However, they're [1.45] to be relegated on Sunday and a chunky [6.0] to win the match. They may be orange but their near future isn't looking bright.
Sir Alex has quietly assembled a squad that is capable of beating anyone. There's strength throughout, a point underlined in the Champions League semi-final second leg when a number of fringe players came in and tore apart a team that had previously shocked some of Europe's biggest names.
The likes of Anderson, Darron Gibson and possibly Michael Owen will be raring to play their way into Sir Alex's Wembley thoughts this Sunday.
At [1.91], Dimitar Berbatov remains favourite to be Premier League top goalscorer but he's level with Carlos Tevez so he needs to find the net. Who would bet against a man who scored two hat-tricks at the Theatre of Dreams this term breaching the division's bottom club's defences? Not us.
Back Berba to score and, if you're really in the party mood, chuck a couple of quid on Yes at [6.2] in the hat-trick scored market.
Edwin van der Sar sat out last week's title-clinching draw at Blackburn (perhaps with a farewell Old Trafford run out in mind for Sunday) and, if he is between the sticks, we're backing the United clean sheet at [2.92].
Blackpool need to go for it, especially early on, and this could play into the Reds' hands. Back 3-0 at [15.5] and over 2.5 goals at [1.61] and get ready to celebrate at the final whistle.
