Man Utd to find a way past in-form Everton

We saw a recurrence of United's away day woes at St James' Park in midweek but Sir Alex Ferguson's men have been impregnable at Old Trafford this term and it's no surprise to find them priced at [1.47] against an unpredictable Everton side.

United are [1.21] to be win the title but Sir Alex Ferguson will be concerned that his team have played without their usual verve in their last two outings and fans will be desperate to see their team recapture their fluidity at home.

United were unlucky at St James' Park but their failure to break down well-organised opponents will have been noted by David Moyes. He is likely to set his team up to stifle the Reds early on and how well this plan works could be key to the outcome.

Everton have only managed four away wins all season and they haven't won here for 20 years. Some may fancy an obdurate Everton side to pick up a point at [4.6] but we really can't see beyond a home win.

In their last home league match - the 2-0 win over Fulham - United scored both their goals before half-time. It was a professional performance as the league leaders got the job done in time to conserve energy ahead of their midweek Champions League match.

The current team may not have the flair of previous line-ups but their grit and professionalism could yet make them one of the most successful. With a European semi-final trip to Germany on Tuesday, Sir Alex will impress on his players the need to wrap this early. Back Man Utd/Man Utd at [2.22] in the half-time/full-time market.

United won this fixture 3-0 last season and you can get [12.5] on that outcome on Saturday. However, with Everton keeping clean sheets in their last two and Europe looming large for United, we don't expect as many goals this time. Back 2-0 at [7.6] and under 2.5 goals at [2.12].

Dimitar Berbatov is the Premier League's leading scorer but now finds himself left out of the big games in favour of Javier Hernandez. After missing two gilt-edged chances at Wembley, the Bulgarian will be keen to atone. Having scored important goals at Old Trafford this season, he should be backed to find the net on Saturday.
