Man Utd slip gives Arsenal & Chelsea hope

It hasn't been a thrilling week for Sky Sports subscribers so far, as Monday's goalless draw between QPR and Derby in the Championship was followed by Newcastle and Manchester United's stalemate last night, in matches that were both called as draws on Betfair Football.

However, though the spectacles might have been lacking slightly, the result at St James' Park was a brilliant one in terms of adding a whole new level of excitement to this evening's Premier League games as Arsenal and Chelsea both have a chance to move within four and six points of the leaders.

Manchester United's title odds noticeably drifted from [1.16] to [1.24], but there's no denying that they are still convincing favourites to hold on for first place, while Arsenal and Chelsea are in all the way from [14.0] to [9.8] and [10.0] ahead of respectively clashes with Tottenham and Birmingham.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side remain very much in control though, as even if they were to draw one and lose the other of their collisions with their two challengers, Chelsea won't be able to catch them if they beat Everton, Blackburn and Blackpool, and Arsenal would need to win their final six fixtures.

It's important not to overlook Newcastle's achievement in taking points off the table-toppers too, as the Magpies became just the fourth team to shut them out all season in the Premier League. The result leaves them in ninth place and they are [2.4] to hold on for a top-half finish.

I hope they are caught. I would love to see the smug look taken from the gumchewing face of Ferguson
