Man Utd forward to play key role in Wales
Wayne Rooney will lead the England line at the Millennium Stadium and it will be interesting to see which Wazza we see in the white shirt. Old Trafford's number ten has hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks but his summer was marked by a series of disappointing displays for the Three Lions.
Just one goal has been scored in five appearances for England since the Euro 2012 campaign began but Rooney will still be favourite to break the deadlock when the two old rivals get down to business on Saturday.
England go into the match as huge favourites - trading at just [1.42] to register their third win of this qualifying campaign - with Wales, who are bottom of the table, available to back at [10.0]. The draw is [5.0].
Whether Fabio Capello's unreliable England are good value at such a short price is debatable but there will be plenty of winning bets at bigger prices, so here are some suggested wagers for this international 'derby'.
Players from both sides have suggested this will be a spicy fixture so a sending off could interest at [4.5]. At a shorter price, backing 9pts and above in Betfair's Booking Odds market at [2.4], should reward (red cards score five points and yellows two).
As we're predicting a feisty fixture, we could argue that goals will follow as both teams go toe-to-toe with one outfit potentially playing with just ten men. Back Over 2.5 goals at a little over evens.
There are plenty of other qualifiers and friendlies on international weekend but surprisingly few United players in action. The Wales-England clash should get Saturday's football off to an entertaining, and hopefully winning, start but which Wayne will turn up?
