Betfair punters win more on Man Utd bets
Javier Hernandez was once again Manchester United's hero as he grabbed his 15th and 16th goals since moving to Old Trafford in the summer to help the Red Devils book their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the fifth successive season.
Betfair customers that kept faith in Sir Alex Ferguson's side received the best reward, especially as a special offer meant that all commission was refunded for wagers on the encounter.
A £20 flutter on the Premier League leaders being in front at half-time and full-time against the French champions therefore returned £30.40, compared to just £20 with Ladbrokes, while the same stake on the home win provided a profit of £11.90, an improvement on the £11.20 at Stan James and Victor Chandler.
There was also far more money to be made betting against other people on Betfair as holders Inter Milan somehow wound up 3-2 winners away to Bayern Munich in a match that the German giants had so many chances to wrap up either side of half-time.
A £10 punt on Inter triumphing by the margin that saw them progress on away goals paid out a massive £408.50 on Betfair - even accounting for the maximum five per cent commission - whereas BetClic users only gained £290 for the exact same bet.
Betfair was also the place Football League fans should have headed to on Tuesday night, especially the select few punters that backed Watford to boost their play-off prospects with a shock 3-0 victory at Ipswich. A £10 outlay was all it took to land £608, while Ladbrokes, Stan James and Blue Square customers had to settle for just £330, almost half as much.
Don't take our word for it though, why not test Betfair yourself using Betchecker?
