Andy's Sunday tips - Newcastle will draw
A real treat for Premier League fans on Sunday with no less than three televised matches to see them through their roast dinner and the remainder of the afternoon. With Chelsea and Manchester City facing each other on Saturday it's a good chance for Manchester United to pick up another three points and create some pressure...
Wolves v Aston Villa
Two of my old teams go head to head here and having played (and scored I may add!) for both in this fixture I can tell you this local derby means more to the players and supporters than some might think.
Wolves look a better team than they did last time out and there seem to be no signs of second-season syndrome at all - for my money, I don't think they'll be in any serious danger of being relegated. That said, I've watched plenty of Villa already this season and they've played better than their results suggest. What's more, I think Wolves may be a little more vulnerable to their counter-attacking threat than other sides who have a little more pace at the back; Ashley Young has started the season particularly well and good luck to anyone trying to keep up with Gabriel Agbonlahor!
I've seen Villa edge these local derbies quite often in recent times and fancy them to do it again on Sunday.
Recommended Bets:
Back Aston Villa to win at [2.6]
Back Aston Villa to win 1-2 at [11.5]
Back Ashley Young to score at [4.5]
Bolton v Manchester United
Not only are United through to the next round of the Carling Cup, but Sir Alex Ferguson was able to rest pretty much all of his key players in the process. Michael Owen scored twice and whereas I don't expect him to start on Sunday, at least it was a reminder to the manager that when fit, Michael still has a part to play and offers something a little bit different to the likes of Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov.
We all know Bolton make life difficult for their opponents and that you have to fight for everything till the bitter end if you're going to come away from here with the points. But United have a good record here in recent years and should have too much class on the day, especially with the form Berbatov is showing. I'd be surprised if they don't win this one and I expect a few more goals from their front men.
Recommended Bets:
Back Manchester United to win at [1.52]
Back Manchester United to win 1-3 at [15.5]
Back Manchester United to score in both halves at [2.5]
Newcastle United v Stoke City
Newcastle are the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde of the Premier League. A 6-0 win at home to Aston Villa and an away win at Goodison Park were high points, whilst an inexplicable home defeat to Blackpool was proof that you just never know what you're going to get from Chris Hughton's men.
Stoke... well, they're just Stoke. They won't make many friends in this league with their physical approach that sometimes goes too far, but it's naive to think they'll change their approach because others don't like it. As I've hinted, this is a pretty tough match to call but the most logical bet, if pressed, would be to back the draw.
Recommended Bets:
Back the draw at [3.5]
Back 1-1 at [7.2]
Back Kenwyne Jones to score at anytime at [3.3]

The only thing that is predictable this season is Andy's inability to ever believing Newcastle can get a Victory..Had to laugh to day when he replied to the comment about Chelsea been knocked out of the Carling Cup by saying "Well it wasn't this Chelsea team that knocked out by Newcastle" Well it was the Newcastle first team that knocked them out, and there was £72M worth of talent on the Chelsea team....Lets have some positivity about Newcastle please.
