I hope andy has taken into consideration all final of all european competition re-played this season;
Starting with Inter v Schalke UEFA Cup 1997 Schalke won by 1-0 and won again in 2011 Champions League quarter final by 7-3 on agagregate
Barcelona v Arsenal of 2006 Champions League final; Barcelona won by 2-1 and won in 2011 Champion league second round again
Inter V Bayern; 2010 Champions league final Inter won by 2-0 and in the quarter final of this year champions league Inter still defeated Bayern to go through
While Man U defeated Chelsea in 2008 final and repeated same feat in 2011 quarter final.
From all this instances I believe it difficult to accept andy bet but in all instances all the team have not met at the same stage they met then maybe this might have a huge impact.

Well anyone can get it wrong, but this verdict is based on a blinkered view by Gray that there is little of worth beyond the Premier League. This is now exposed as nonsense; Andy Gray is the man who thought Messi would struggle against Stoke Ciy!!
Time for a re-think. His assessment is totally at sea
