The forum on Mancini's future at Man City
The posters of the Betfair football forum are almost unanimous in their verdict that Roberto Mancini will be sacked by Manchester City before the start of next season, despite the club being [1.44] to finish in the top four. Here's what they are saying...
"Mancini can't have long left, surely? Fair enough, Manchester City will probably qualify for the Champions League this season, but what's the point if they're going to play like this when they get there? - FunkyIguana
"I would imagine that he'll be turfed out in the summer whatever they do. The owners must be distinctly unimpressed watching the tripe that passes for football that he serves up." - mafeking
"Actually, playing like this when they get there will probably take them quite far. Park the bus away and they can beat anyone at home...no chance of winning a league though. He reminds me of Rafael Benitez in many ways." - R0ykeane
"The man is on borrowed time. If I was pumping hundreds of millions into a club, I'd at least expect my side to be attacking and adventurous. Manchester City are anything but." - Biscuit1979
"The owners have invested hundreds of millions, you would be naive if you're one to think that this guy is going to be here come the start of next season. 100 per cent will be on his way." - tottenhamsuck
"You might be right but if we are to win anything soon, we need to have some stability through the club. Apart from the last week, it has been looking promising. Personally, I don't like the way we play as it is too negative but I am not sure changing the manager again will do any good unless it is for the chosen one (Jose Mourinho)." - Land a Hoy
