Andy's Saturday tips - Back Man City to win

Manchester City Photo

Our top tipster Andy Gray has been in fine form of late. Here's how he's planning to continue that run on Saturday...

Arsenal v Fulham
Arsenal have faltered occasionally this season but I can't see it happening here.
Recommended Bets: Back Arsenal at [1.31]; 2-0 at [7.4]

Birmingham v Tottenham
A tough one for Spurs, but they have really kicked on in recent games and can keep the run going.
Recommended Bets: Back Tottenham at [2.2]; 1-2 at [10.0]

Blackburn v Wolves
Last weekend's win was massive for Wolves but I expect Blackburn to get back on track.
Recommended Bets: Back Blackburn at [1.8]; 2-0 at [11.0]

Chelsea v Everton
This is not the fixture Everton would have picked to follow a dispiriting home defeat.
Recommended Bets: Back Chelsea at [1.39]; 2-1 at [10.0]

Manchester City v Bolton
Manchester City are hard to get right now but I think this should be fairly straightforward for Roberto Mancini's men.
Recommended Bets: Back Manchester City at [1.58]; 2-0 at [8.0]

Wigan v Stoke
Wigan continue to struggle but Stoke aren't in particularly great form themselves.
Recommended Bets: Back the draw at [3.35]; 2-2 at [20.0]

Blackpool v Manchester United (now postponed)

I have to say it - Blackpool have surprised me in the best possible way this season. I thought they would struggle but, really, they haven't. I have been proven wrong. One hundred per cent of the credit must go to Ian Holloway, who has crafted a team in his own image. They have been hugely adventurous and hugely positive in everything they have done, but in no way are they naive.

In previous years, teams like Swindon and West Brom have come up, vowed to play the same way, but got battered and went down. Five wins already this campaign, including three on the road, suggests the same fate may not befall the Seasiders.

But saying that, this game is different. Manchester United are still unbeaten in the league and though they suffered a setback on Tuesday night, I wouldn't read too much into their defeat at the Boleyn Ground. I don't think anyone is surprised when a big team gets knocked out of the Carling Cup these days - in fact I tipped up the West Ham win on this very website. I hope you followed me!

I think Blackpool will give the leaders a game on Saturday evening and can see the home team scoring first, but getting caught and overhauled close to home.

Recommended Bets:
Back Manchester United to win at [1.4]
Back Blackpool to lead at half-time and Man Utd to win at full-time at [26.0]

I'm sure you don't read this but I have to say when you're hot, you're hot. Another Saturday of good predictions, and getting the score of Wigan correct, at 20.0, is very impressive. Hopefully you'll have positive things to say about Liverpool, my main bet of the weekend, potentially.
