Three more Liverpool versus Napoli punts
We've already offered our verdict on the outcome of this evening's Group K clash at Anfield between Liverpool and Napoli, backing the hosts to hand Napoli their first away defeat of the season, however here are three more wagers to consider...
Back the second half to have more goals
Napoli have a habit of leaving it late and their last two matches, against AC Milan and Brescia, have featured far more goalmouth action after their break. There have been more goals scored in the first half of only one of their last nine games, while five have had more in the second half. It's [2.12] for that trend to continue against Liverpool, who waited until after the interval to beat Blackburn and Bolton.
Back Pazienza to be shown a card
Napoli midfielder Michele Pazienza hasn't been shy to stick his boot in early on in this campaign, picking up six yellow cards - two in one game against AC Milan for handballs - in ten appearances, and has been at his most undisciplined in recent weeks. Partenopei boss Walter Mazzarri appears set to stick with the 28-year-old though, so back him to attract the referee's attention again at [3.0].
Back David N'Gog to score
Regularly dismissed and underappreciated for committing the crime of not being Fernando Torres, David N'Gog has been the main man for Liverpool in the Europa League this season, the competition in which they have enjoyed the most success. He's netted five goals in five starts but is a tasty [3.0] to score again tonight, presumably as punters are expecting Fernando Torres to feature prominently.
