The great Liverpool summer shopping list
Kenny Dalglish is set for one busy summer if today's transfer rumours are to be believed.
The News of the World suggests four Premier League names are on the shortlist with Everton leftback Leighton Baines the most provocative of an eye-catching list that also includes Aston Villa's Ashley Young and Stewart Downing. Bolton's Gary Cahill rounds out the NotW's domestic targets.
But that's not the half of it according to the Daily Telegraph who suggest up to 22 deals could be made as Dalglish prepares to match predecessors Gerard Houllier and Rafa Benitez for transfer profligacy.
The Telegraph's list is topped by Rennes winger Sylvain Marveaux who will arrive on a Bosman free transfer. Leaving Anfield are Paul Konchesky, Alberto Aquilani, Philipp Degen, Nabir El Zhar and Emiliano Insua.
Oh, and Jose Enrique could swap St James' Park for Anfield too, but Bayern Munich are also keen.
And that's yer lot!

we do need another striker but the list of strikers is too long.
this would fill any gaps we may get throughout the season through injuries, plus bolster our attacking line. Kranjcar is a class midfielder, we need depth in the midfield. To me Gago is a better choice than Matuldi, he is pure class and would play along nicely with suarez. I dont see to much of an immediate problem with our back line. The youngsters seem to be slotting in nicely. Maybe wait till next year to fill that void?
