Is Kenny Dalglish capable of taking Liverpool forward after his lengthy absence from the game? Was Eddie Howe wrong to stay at Bournemouth? And will Alan Curbishley ever get a manager's job again? Those are the questions being asked and answered on the Betfair football forum...

"If Kenny Dalglish ever lasted eight years in a job with David Moyes' budget, Liverpool would be playing Darlington tonight." - Daveyboymoyes

"I'd struggle to take evens on Liverpool at Crawley on recent form. They were poor on Sunday, they ran around and got their metres in for the stats geeks and to 'earn' their phenomenal wages but I didn't see Manchester United out of second gear. Blackpool players targeted this game when the fixtures were out and they will be confident and without fear whereas Reds players will be more than nervous and edgy about Blackpool ([4.3]) landing the double." - ph.

"Charlie Adam has been transformed at Blackpool. Up here he was a laughing stock at Rangers. Came on for Scotland against Spain for the second half and was quality, his passing has improved about a million per cent." - Geesyerdosh

Why is Alan Curbishley still without a club? Paul Jewell is the latest to be wheeled out from retirement to get a job. I would have thought Ipswich would have been perfect for Curbishley but he never seems to even get linked with jobs anymore." - what do i do now?

"Whilst Eddie Howe is rightly idolised by Bournemouth fans, I don't think he will have done himself any favours for the future. He'll now be known as a managerial p**** tease. He had talks with Southampton and turned them down. He's had talks with Palace and Charlton and turned them both down too. All three are, without question, much bigger clubs than Bournemouth are. Rightly or wrongly, he's clearly used this situation to earn himself more money." - Biscuit1979
