MOT your multiple - a big bogey team bet!
Every week, we pick out what we believe will prove a popular weekend multiple and put it to the test, offering another option if we're not convinced that the standout selection is the correct one.
Four of the upcoming Premier League matches involve teams with a woeful record against the side they are facing: Wigan have lost all 11 of their clashes with Manchester United, West Brom have been beaten in six of their last seven meetings with Stoke, West Ham last won at Anfield in 1963 and Sunderland are winless in a dozen against Everton.
The obvious multiple involving those games therefore would be to bet on victories for Manchester United, Stoke, Liverpool and Everton and a fiver four-fold on those outcomes pays out £91.80.
What would we change? Well, we would stick with the two odds-on clubs in the wager - Manchester United and Liverpool - simply because even with Wayne Rooney still a doubt for the Red Devils and Steven Gerrard out for the Reds, they should be too strong for their struggling visitors.
The other two are tougher to call. Manchester City are the only guests to have triumphed at the Hawthorns since February, while Stoke have been successful on their travels just once this season.
Sunderland is another tricky one, as great underdog wins are often followed by shock defeats (Newcastle saw off Arsenal at the Emirates then were beaten by Blackburn), however Manchester United and West Ham are the only away teams to have won at the Stadium of Light in 2010.
For those reasons, we expect draws in both fixtures, meaning that our alternative suggestion is to punt on Manchester United and Liverpool taking three points and Stoke and Everton settling for one on the road. A fiver outlay on those results stands to deliver a return of £96.75.
