Andy Gray wins big by opposing Liverpool

He's come in for a fair amount of stick from Liverpool fans on Betfair Football over the last few days for his views on former manager Roy Hodgson but Andy Gray responded to his critics in style by calling everything right as Liverpool exited the FA Cup in the third round again at Old Trafford.

All three of the legendary pundit's recommended wagers for the tie of the round proved successful as he tipped Manchester United to progress, under 1.5 goals and a 1-0 margin of victory for the Premier League leaders, bets that provided a combined profit of £97.50 when backed to £10 stakes.

The winning didn't stop there though as Andy also fancied "boring, boring City" as Manchester City's fans ironically chant, to answer their midweek critics with an entertaining performance at Leicester, covering over 3.5 goals for their 2-2 draw.

Our top tipster also predicted that Tottenham and Chelsea would progress unscathed and had Spurs down to beat Charlton 3-0, as they did courtesy of three second-half goals, with two of those coming from Jermain Defoe, who started his career at the Addicks.

That meant that any wise soul who stuck £10 on each of Andy's ten Sunday suggestions was rewarded with an incredible overall payout of £182.50.
