Bet on Everton - get a refund if they flop

This season has fallen far short of what most Everton fans had expected, as after finally being able to get through the summer transfer window without losing a star player, many dreamed of once again challenging for a Champions League place, especially after Liverpool and Aston Villa started poorly.

However despite a disappointing campaign, a top-six finish - which admittedly no longer provides a Europa League place - is suddenly a possibility at [8.6] with the Toffees just five points behind rivals Liverpool, who aren't properly convincing right now despite beating Chelsea and Manchester United.

It gives David Moyes' side something to aim for during a period in which mid-table teams often struggle to find motivation, and history dictates that they traditionally fare well in the springtime, going 11 games unbeaten at the end of 2009-10 and losing only two of their final 14 the year before.

Fulham have a target too of course, with the top half in sight after a run of just one defeat in nine, but they have won only once on their travels all season and their away record is particularly dire at top-half clubs, a mere three points and two goals all they have to show for their seven trickiest trips.

Factor in the Cottagers' woeful results at Goodison Park in recent years, where they have lost on all nine of their previous Premier League visits, and the home victory looks irresistible at the huge price of [2.1], while an Everton win to nil also to be fancied at [3.2].
