Brazilian star set for Chelsea or Arsenal
Some transfer rumours stem from taxi drivers claiming to have taken players to certain destinations, while others begin with news of star players allegedly being spotted at train stations or airports nowhere near his current employers, yet the latest piece of gossip has an even more unusual source.
Madrid-based Spanish sports newspaper AS are reporting that Kaka could be on his way to London this summer and are not basing the speculation on either of the above methods, but instead have come to the conclusion by analysing a Twitter post by the Real Madrid man's mother Simone Leite.
The parent of the former Ballon d'Or winner informed her 3.7 million-plus followers on the social networking site that next season "we" will be in the English capital spreading the word of God, before later stating that August would be the month of their arrival.
She didn't specify whether her religious 29-year-old son was part of the group that she referred to, though given his lack of regular first-team football in his second year at Real Madrid and past talk about a move to Chelsea, it is easy to understand why the comment has been interpreted that way.
Of course, Stamford Bridge wouldn't be the only possible calling point in London for the Brazilian attacking midfielder, as Arsenal could also consider a bid if captain Cesc Fabregas' much-anticipated switch to Barcelona finally takes place at the end of this campaign.
Tottenham are also likely to be interested and ambitious QPR may be tempted to make a cheeky enquiry, however the absence of Champions League football at either venue is sure to hinder their chances.
Who will be the highest-placed London club in the Premier League this season? Arsenal are [8.0] to overtake Chelsea in the final few weeks...

he is a great player, but self-made pauper wenger wouldnt even begin to compete with chelsea, even if he had the money because wenger would view him as too old, too pricey and probably too direct a player!

Maybe a cheeky bid of £5m will be rejected, then another cheeky bid of £5m three weeks later, will prove we are serious! Ha ha!

Lovely idea and maybe if we sold cesc to RM we could (if so inclined) work it into the deal somehow (more likely cesc + cash = kaka). But let's be realistic; Wenger's never going to spend the kind of money required to secure Kaka on a single player. Never.

Also, if Kaka's having a hard time at RM, who where would he want to go more than to the club managed by his former boss at AC Milan? It's got Ancelotti and Chelsea written all over it.

First of all i think its really stupid that a transfer rumour could be made up from such a statement from kaka's mom. Secondly if kaka does come to england it will obviously be chelsea. Arsenal are definately not interested. Unless man city feel like throwing their money around again hahaha

I can't see Wenger buying him.
Chelsea maybe...
Man City even MORE so...
The statement from Kaka's mother could be anything though.
She might just be coming over here herself, or with a religious group or something.
Funny the way rumours pop up out of anything.
"My mate's dad's boss's dog gets it's hair cut by a guy who is the cousin of Michael Jackson's father's dentist and he said that he saw him on holiday with a man who is my neice's second-cousin's boyfriend's car salesman. Anyway, apparently he said he wants to come to England."
