Tottenham set for tricky visit to Blackburn
There's a massive game between West Ham and Blackpool to take in this evening, along with a couple of other tasty looking matches. Here's what we reckon will happen...
Blackburn Rovers v Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs capitulation against Fulham at the weekend will have worried Harry Redknapp perhaps more than any of their other poor results recently.
Of as big a concern for Redknapp will be the amount of players Spurs have missing for this trip - Michael Dawson is suspended following his sending-off against Fulham while the other Spurs centre-halves are struggling to make the game with injury. Gareth Bale and Luka Modric are also injured, as is Tom Huddlestone.
With Blackburn winning their last two home games against Liverpool and West Brom, backing them to pick up a point against the injury-ravaged Spurs looks to be well worth a bet at [3.4].
Blackpool v West Ham
West Ham's 3-1 win away at Fulham on Boxing Day was their first in 27 games and they have failed to add to that victory in their two away games since.
Meanwhile, Blackpool's form has stuttered in recent weeks with one win and five defeats in their last six Premier League games.
However, they face a West Ham side who have not kept a clean sheet in 20 league games and will fancy their chances of sticking a couple past the Irons - especially considering that Blackpool have scored in every home game and every opposition side has also found the net at Bloomfield Road this season.
Backing a win for the Seasiders at [2.42] and over 2.5 goals at [1.69] looks to be worth a bet.
Bolton v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Bolton have only lost two games at the Reebok this season and they were against Liverpool and Chelsea, while Wolves have the 19th worst away attack in the league.
With Bolton set to give a debut to on-loan Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge, it could be a long afternoon for Mick McCarthy's men - back a win for the Trotters at [1.93].
