Forlan back to Manchester United?
Kenny Dalglish's men may be making a late charge for a top four spot but Pepe Reina is still considering his future at Liverpool, according to reports.
The Spanish goalkeeper wants to be playing Champions League football next season and he might be willing to leave Anfield to find it.
The Reds are already considering options for a replacement with Manchester City reserve Shay Given said to be top of their list. The Irish stopper watched from the bench on Saturday as Joe Hart pulled off a string of excellent saves in City's 1-0 FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester United.
Given, who turns 35 this week, would surely be delighted with a move up the M6 and the prospect of first team football in a side that many people believe is going places.
One man who has fond memories of Anfield is Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan. The Uruguayan famously scored two goals there in a Manchester United victory in 2002. But could Diego be on his way back to Old Trafford? That's the rumour after his falling-out with boss Atletico boss Quique Sanchez Flores.
He may be in the midst of his best season at the Emirates but Samir Nasri could leave Arsenal this summer. The midfielder is stalling on a new deal and the club are desperate to prevent him from departing for free in the summer of 2012 when his current contract expires.
Werder Bremen centre-half Per Mertesacker could be on his way to north London. He's Arsene Wenger's top target as the Gunners boss attempts to plug the gaps in his wobbly back four.

When was the last time MU resigned a player? Somehow dont think the gaffer will bring him in unless to play as a midfield, then again with their preference for fast young runners, why bring on an aged "set piece" specialist. If they wanted someone like Forlan, they would ve signed Suarez. Wont be surprise to see him towards Anfield instead.
