It's likely to be a busy summer for Arsenal with some suggesting that this will be Arsene Wenger's final attempt to end the club's six-year wait for silverware before walking away, and speculation about captain Cesc Fabregas completing his much-anticipated move to Barcelona inevitable.

That's why it's practically impossible to go a day without reading a rumour about potential activity at the Emirates and the Daily Mirror are leading the way on Friday with a story crammed full of names of players that could be coming and going in north London over the next few months.

They claim that Wenger has his sights set on several of the stars in Ligue 1 side Lorient's challenge for Europa League qualification, including French international striker Kevin Gameiro, who for the second season running is in contention to be the division's top goalscorer having netted 20 times.

The 24-year-old is believed to be available for a figure in the region of £12 million while his team-mate Morgan Amalfitano, who has contributed nine assists, could be brought to the English capital on a free transfer, though the Gunners are said to face competition from Aston Villa and Sevilla.

But while Arsenal are expected to welcome several new arrivals, a few departures are anticipated too and Bayern Munich are named as possible suitors of Nicklas Bendtner and Bacary Sagna, with incoming boss Jupp Heynckes thought to prefer the French right back to Chelsea's Jose Bosingwa.

No mention of Fabregas' future is made in the article, however it is stated that convincing French midfielder Samir Nasri to commit is a priority for the Champions League ever-presents.
